How to plan Wedding
There is a number of steps you will come through while planning a wedding, and have a good guide would be a great advantage. So what milestones would you need to pass in order to plan your wedding?
Probably the very first thing is to understand your feelings and desires about that day, visualise the wedding of your dream in your mind. Sounds easy, but it’s not. Start thinking of the cornerstone idea: what would that day mean for you and your partner. Would it be small and intimate or large and loud?
Next step is to put the things on the ground and estimate the budget. That is when you have to be realistic and think wisely all the aspects.
Having the budget and the general idea of the Wedding in mind, it’s good to think of how many guests would you like to invite, and that would lead you logically to the venue selection that would match the style and idea and fit all the guests. At this stage you have to choose the date that would be aligned with the ideas you have and will be comfortable for guests.
Once the venue location is set, the very next step is to book the other vendors, and start planning the schedule.
That is where the wedding photographers would be a great help because of their experience and focus on photography. They could advice you on how usually parts of the wedding day take, and when it is better to give more time to the specific part and avoid the stress on the Day.
In the Ulla Nordwood Photography team, we always advice our brides about the wedding day schedule and point some potential improvements that would result better wedding photographs.
